About the host Davina 2.0, originally known as Davina Kemp, was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She is mother of one, a 9-year-old girl, a newly found author, and an educator of 10 years. Davina comes from an extremely tight-knit family who loves and adores her. In August 2019, Davina was on her way to top of her education profession when suddenly life took a turn for what she THOUGHT would be the worse. Davina suffered a massive large middle cerebral artery ischemic infract (stroke) and hemorrhagic stroke that left her unable to do some of life basics activities such as walking, talking, writing, comprehend along with other major deficits that you will hear her discuss throughout her podcast. In addition to major physical deficits, Davina experienced a period in a state of deep depression that altered her state of mind and affected her mental health. However, Davina leaned on her faith and decided to face what appeared to be unsurmountable challenges. Within a year, however, Davina overcame her bout with depression and turned her story into glory. Most of her deficits have resolved with no physical evidence of a massive stroke.
